Visit from Wildlife Friends
December 2, 2008
December 2, 2008

Mike Seidel of
the Ohio Wildlife Center
came with two friends and talked about the work the Wildlife Center does rescuing injured and orphaned animals.
The first friend was a Kestrel named Blue who seemed somewhat suspicious of the photographer.

Ari the Screech Owl was mistaken for a boy when she first arrived. She has a damaged wing and is a permanent resident at the center.
Christmas with the Critters will be Monday, December 29, 2008 at the center. The center has many needs. Check out the website for details and watch the video. The release of the Red-Tailed Hawk at the end is quite moving.

From the OWC website:
“Ohio Wildlife Center (OWC) is a leader in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education. We treat nearly 5,000 animals in our wildlife hospital every year and reach thousands of adults and children through education programs.
OWC is a private, non-profit organization. We rely almost entirely on the generosity of individual and corporate donors, private grants, endowments and service fees. Thank you for your support”
